The Vesper - High Performance

The Vesper is a high performance, moderate-fast (3-6wt) and fast action (7-10wt) offering that out perform others in its price range. How? We drilled down, removed the fluff, and put the majority of build costs into the essence of what makes a great rod, great; the blank. These are high modulus, nano matrix materials which net lighter, stronger and faster recovering tools.

Lightweight, accurate, superb balance, dampening and swing weight, this is The Vesper. Field Tested & Guide Approved.

"The new Vesper from Moonshine is going to take fly rod industry by storm. Finally, an incredible casting fly rod with an honest price tag. This is one of the most accurate rods I've ever fished with. Very intuitive hand feel with a feather light swing weight that is needed for long days on the water. Loads of reserve power down low in the blank, with the capability to send long distance casts and deal with strong headwinds. I really like the softer rod tip which can protect the lightest tippets that are required when fishing for spooky trout in the Smoky Mountains. This is my new favorite fly rod!"

"When guiding in Patagonia with Dakota she let me try the new Vesper. The Vesper is very easy to launch, I was able to shoot large dries very far! It is a quick versatile rod that launches fast and really fights the wind which is known to occur frequently here in Patagonia! It was also very good for streamers and large dry flies. Overall, I was very impressed with this light yet forceful rod!"
